Tron VDR

This multipurpose float free
maritime safety product contains both a conventional GMDSS satellite
position-indicating radio beacon,
EPIRB and also a storage media for
VDR (Voyage Data Recorder).
Built in VDR storage media:
Tron VDR will at all times have in
store a loop of the latest 12 hours recorded data provided from the VDR-system
installed on board the vessel.
Floats to the surface keeping the
VDR information available even if the vessel should sink.
No expensive and time consuming
under water search for ship mounted memory bank (FRM) required.
The Tron VDR will duplicate all on
board VDR recorded and stored information.
It can be connected to all existing
VDR-systems on the market.
The Tron VDR is a necessity, even as
an optional equipment according to the IMO resolution A.861 (20), due to the
possibility to avoid high cost for under water search.
The Tron VDR recorder is separately
mounted in the battery unit of the well proven Tron 30S Mkll GMDSS float free
EPIRB.
