We are particularly proud to introduce our own designed ITJ Jacket.
This jacket is made for cold weather operations.
It is insulated, using an iso-thermal technique, against the cold by a layer of air.
This layer of air separates the outside cold air from the user's body.
The user can manually inflate the jacket to varying degrees by using an internal inflation tube built into the jacket near the front collar.
The wearer may inflate the jacket to the level of insulation desired.
In other cold weather jackets, the separation is obtained by stuffing the jacket with fibers or feathers.
This ‘stuffing’ technique works only because the fibers separate the two linings from each other.
But, it is still the air inside that produces that resulting iso-thermal insulation.
It is the air and not the fibers themselves that produce the desired insulation.
Furthermore, the use of such fibers or feathers greatly adds to the weight of the jacket.
The jacket is made from a very soft PVC coated nylon material with a rating of 210 Denier.
Using 210 Dernier material ensures that the jacket is rugged enough for heavy tear-free use while still being light enough to maintain maximum freedom of movement.
This particular model jacket has been designed for outside work in cold weather, for the military personnel and policemen etc.
Of course, it can be used for recreational purposes also.
Some of the features of our jacket are: Under arm zippers are provided for air circulation if the weather becomes warmer while wearing the jacket.
These under arm vents can be opened or close to varying degrees depending on the wearer.
Reflective tape may be sewn on to the jacket.
A variety of colors and designs are available.
